Walk or ride a horse along the 7km white sand beach. Spot an enormous variety of birds from the Silvermine nature reserve, Atlantic Ocean and local wetlands. Apart from top class bed and breakfast guest house, we have a beautiful solar heated swimming pool, where you can sit and enjoy a poolside drink. Guest house rooms are tastefully furnished and all equipped with en-suite bathrooms, mostly with spa baths (Jacuzzi). For superior accommodation, book a suite with its own private lounge and sun-deck - it's still affordable! We serve a delicious continental breakfast buffet, with English breakfast on request. We will also be pleased to make arrangements for car hire, restaurant reservations, golf bookings etc. - whatever we can do to make your stay more enjoyable.

Sitara Country Lodge offers value for money golf tour holiday accommodation in a location which is ideal as a base for a South Africa Golf Tour. Three of the Cape's top Golf courses (Clovelly golf club, Steenberg golf club and Westlake golf club) are located within 15 minutes drive of the property. Many other golf courses are just 30-45 minutes drive away. We are often asked to assist our golf tour guests with arrangements such as booking golf tee-times, lessons at a local golf academy, golf playing lessons, golf guides and so on.

Some of South Africa 's top restaurants are located in the South Peninsula and within easy reach. Whether you're looking for the freshest seafood on the rocks of False Bay or Haute Cuisine in the middle of a vineyard, we will be pleased to help you with a reservation at a restaurant within a few minutes drive of the lodge.

Cape Town 's major attractions are within easy reach. The city centre and V&A Waterfront and Table Mountain Cableway are just 30 minutes drive. The beaches of Noordhoek ( Long Beach ) , False Bay (Fish Hoek, Muizenberg, Simonstown) are a few minutes drive away. The Constantia winelands are just over the mountain (10 minutes drive). Hout Bay is just the other side of the spectacular Chapman's Peak Drive . Cape Point Nature Reserve is 30 minutes drive. Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens are 15-20 minutes drive. The winelands of Stellenbosch are an interesting 45 minute drive away.
